Proxying the Pureblood Warpwolf

Continuing my ‘proxied’ Circle Orboros army here’s my Pureblood Warpwolf. The miniature is a limited edition Wolfen from the Confrontation range called Varghar. I chopped off the large axe he was carrying in his left hand and decided to base him on ‘stone’ rather than the skull and bone pile he came with. I think [...]

Shae vs Absylonia (35pt Battle Overview)

In my last post about the Privateers I claimed Phinneus Shae is a hard man to kill! Well, Typhon proved this evening that is not the case. It took three boosted sprays, one of which that missed, but the Legion character beast got the job done… Joe’s 35pt force was led by Absylonia and he [...]

An Introduction to Warmachine

This is an article I wrote a couple of months ago for Issue 3 of the Uplink magazine [pdf] “Play like you’ve got a pair!” is the catchphrase for this fast-paced aggressive game. If you like the sound of a wargame that has a stunning range of miniatures, is based in an immersive and compelling [...]
