Redesigning Deathjack – Part 2

In my last post I showed a jumble of bits and a beaufitul piece of artwork. Yesterday I got started to turn that mess into something. Hopefully that something will look a little like the picture when it’s done! Anyway, here’s a video of progress so far.

    I like where you are going with this. I wonder if the rocks on the base are a bit big.

    Since this video I’ve broadened out the shoulder mounts and attached the ‘horns’ to the shoulderpads. I’m not sure how well they look. The rocks might indeed be too big when the complete height of the model is considered – rocks, upright pose and shoulder horns probably put the model at about 12cm (4″)! I might relook at the leaping pose, which the rocks were intended to counterbalance.
