Buccaneer Light Warjack: Work in Progress

Just a quick teaser shot of the Buccaneer. The navy colour is done, as are the flames inside the head. I think I’m going to go with battleship grey on the other plate areas. The metal details will probably be brass and the gears steel, but that may change as I finish painting him. I need to think about some rust wear too. This guy is a tester for the Mariner, so if he turns out well the heavy will be painted in a similar manner.

I’ll write a colour guide when I’m finished this little guy.

Thanks Clayton. I’m trying to up my game at the moment. That navy colour is about 5/6 progressive layers and a wash! How are your trolls coming along?

Thanks Owen. My trolls are being saved for the Khador Red painting challenge, so they have not been touched

The Mauler is this weekend though. After him, I think I may do my lights.

Cool stuff – I look forward to the blog posts. I thought about joining the Khador Red painting challenge, but I’m fairly diligent in getting my painting done. I try never to play with unpainted miniatures, so that really pushes me to finish things.
