		<description>Thanks Dave. I like the dark shade fine. I&#039;ve only painted it on. &#039;Painting&#039; isn&#039;t quite the right term - it&#039;s globbed on. This creates severe shading which is appropriate for 15mm miniatures that will be mostly seen at arms length. I considered Tamiya Smoke, but I don&#039;t like the way it flows (more suited to metallics). The miracle wash (1:1 Citadel Devlan Mud and Badab Black) would work well too. You wouldn&#039;t need white spirit to clean the brush either with the wash.  

You have to be careful with dark shade on the smooth surfaces of the vehicles. Other than that it&#039;s good (apart from the price!).
